Company's diverse, global customer base includes offshore drilling operations, pipelines, refineries, power generation facilities, chemical and petrochemical plants, steel mills, automotive, manufacturers, pulp and paper mills, food and beverage processing plants, semi-conductor manufacturers and pharmaceutical manufacturers. The company operates more than 70 offices on five continents. The company has one opening for a qualified, high-producing, Sales Account Manager to join a team.

JOB SUMMARY:

Account Managers sell a variety of industrial services to companies in the oil and power industries (Industrial Markets). This role requires prospecting of new clients as well as selling to existing clients to achieve specific sales quotas. Responsibilities are executed within a specific geographic region.

The earning potential is unlimited as there is no cap on Account Manager incentive plan.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Maintain current customer relationships and maximise revenue from existing customers and contracts within your span of responsibility in line with current budget.
• Manage the area P&L in line with budgeted expectations.
• Planning and implementation of work, including liaison with Central Operations, so that each job is executed in the most timely and cost effective manner to achieve budgeted contribution.
• Ensuring operational compliance with Furmanite’s QA and Safety policy and procedures.
• Prepare and deliver timely responses to tenders, enquires and other Customer demands. This may include carrying out site work assessments and representing the Company at site meetings using sound technical and commercial awareness. When submitting prices consideration must be given to meeting budgeted contribution margins.
• In conjunction with the Sales Team, pro-actively sell Furmanite to new and existing customers in line with the Area Sales Plan.
• Maintain good relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
• Focus on identifying new business opportunities.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree is desirable and/or ten years of industrial services sales experience.
Work Experience:
Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years successful sales experience selling to refineries, power plants or other industrial clients. Candidates who have experience selling Non Destructive Testing, Welding, Scaffolding, Insulation, Equipment Rental, Refractory and Industrial Cleaning services to the industrial markets will be considered.
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:
• Knowledge of local customer base
• Experience selling pressure relief devices, field machining and general plant services.
• Familiarity with maintenance planning and engineering.
• Computer literate and capable of running engineering product programs.
• Ability to travel as much as 30% depending on territory assignment.
