Conferences

I had an idea once about how to use a club like this to hook up with friends and interesting contacts at conferences...

A few times eacy year, I go to industry conferences in cities that I don't know at all.

I always thought it would be great if I could join an online community of other people in my business, and that we could meet up after hours for a drink and to talk shop.

Suppose there were something like a calendar of events around the world, and us club members could sign in if we were going to attend. Then we could arrange a time, place and date to meet up for a small get-together.

Just a thought.
