Program Director – Global Industry Solutions – Oil and Gas

Summary Description: The Program Director is responsible for envisioning, developing, marketing, and driving success of client's Manufacturing’s Oil and Gas Solutions globally.

The Program Director works closely with the GIS Global Manufacturing VP, the Field Sales and management teams across all Regions, and the GIS Global Manufacturing Program Realization Manager to realize the program vision. This exact management setup may vary regionally. This position is geared specifically to the client's Oil and Gas Manufacturing sub-vertical. In partnership with Field Management, the Program Director sets the Industry marketing strategy, defines the requirements, provides the content expertise for the program, and partners with the Field selling organizations to drive financial success of the program. This individual is responsible for building and executing plans which ensure that any approved programs are deployed successfully on time and within budget. The Program Director may also be called on to support specific customer sales motions and must have the requisite business knowledge.

Qualifications:
• Strong business knowledge and direct experience (5+ years) with an Oil and Gas company or relevant Systems Integrator or Consultant
• BS degree in Business/Management, Petroleum Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or other Manufacturing related degree
• 3+ years of project management or program management experience involving software technology and implementation is desired
• Analytical experience with a practical knowledge of business intelligence and data warehousing
• Experience executing offers, programs, and/or products from concept phase to deployment
• Excellent presentation and delivery skills, with ability to influence others
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to build alignment across organizations and individuals

Office & Travel Requirements: This will be a “virtual” (home) based office position. Travel is expected to be up to 50% in a typical month including global travel primarily EMEA.
