BASIC FUNCTION:
Develop, maintain, and enforce company standards for the purchase, use, inspection, and maintenance of all company-owned drill string components. Assist with and lead as required, all reported incidents involving potential or real drillstring failures with regard to troubleshooting, investigation, and warranty claims. Participate and lead in the ongoing development of industry standards (API) for drillstring components and tubular goods, as well as research and development of new products and technology to ensure technological leadership is established and recognized.
