Oil Industry ART

Hello all,

I am looking for interesting Art related to the oil industry, prints paintings, models and maps.

Would be greatful for any ideas.

Don, there are many

Don, there are many interesting artifacts in petroleum since those early days of Pennylvania and Baku and Ploiesti. I've found interesting paintings in oil museums from Texas to Romania and loads of sculpture, most of it now visible with some careful searching on the internet.

Also, you may recall the painter who attended the first GPC meeting in London earlier this year, Anna-louise, who wanted to work out of Dubai to capture the oil industry on canvas. Get in touch with me if you're interested.
