Responsibilities

Individual will primarily support the efforts of Project Teams expanding the footprint of Williams¿ Midstream Operations both onshore and offshore in the Gulf Coast Region. Some activities of these teams include studying and analyzing new opportunities and prospects, then negotiating, designing, constructing, installing and transitioning to operations new Deepwater pipelines, associated equipment and future floating production facilities. Per the Williams Project Life Cycle initiative, this individual will serve as the operations representative on the Core Project Teams, including taking a prominent role in commissioning and transition to operations activities toward the last phases of the projects. Candidate will support and supply operations information for both the business and technical needs of the project as necessary, at the same time keeping the appropriate field operations personnel involved and informed of project activities. Projects are generally each 2-4 years in duration. Individual may participate in multiple projects concurrently depending on the size of the projects and the time frames. Current work environment is fast paced.

Successful applicant will also lead and participate in other operations projects and activities as appropriate and schedule permits. Candidate must be familiar with or be able to quickly get up to speed and embrace Midstream¿s System Integrity Plan, Project Life Cycle, and the reliability focus that drives Midstream Gulf of Mexico business and operations.  

Qualifications

Strong leadership skills, excellent written and verbal communications, good analytical, organizational skills and attention to detail are basic requirements. Multi-tasking is a necessity. Individual must have the ability to function as part of a seamless team effort, while at the same time being comfortable functioning in a lead role independently with minimal oversight. Previous offshore pipeline operations experience is required. Due to the pace of new technology development, must be able to adapt to new situations and learn on the job.

Location for this position is Houston.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
